How MyDomainRating works
MyDomainRating.ai is a simple front end for Ahrefs' free Domain Rating data. Here is what happens when you check a site.
1. You enter a domain
Type any domain or paste a full URL. We tidy it up to the bare domain, so https://www.example.com/pricing becomes example.com.
2. We ask Ahrefs
Our server sends the domain to Ahrefs' Domain Rating API and gets back the current score. The request runs on our server, so no API keys are ever exposed in your browser.
3. You get the score
You see the DR from 0 to 100, a short description of what that level means, and a bar showing where it sits on the scale. The page address updates so you can share the result.
4. Strong sites join the column
If the site scores 20 or higher, it is added to the Recently checked column with a screenshot of its homepage. Screenshots are refreshed about once a week. Lower-scoring sites are never shown publicly.
